J. Zac Christman

J. Zac Christman, Esquire, is a bankruptcy attorney with Newman, Williams, Mishkin, Corveleyn, Wolfe & Fareri, P.C., the largest firm in his hometown of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.  After attending Dartmouth College and then Cornell Law School, he returned to his hometown in 1997 and opened a solo practice with a focus on bankruptcy, landlord/tenant law and juvenile justice.  After spending 2000 and 2001 between private practice and part-time Public Defender positions, Zac joined William G. Schwab & Associates to focus on bankruptcy and bankruptcy litigation, including representation of Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 12 Trustees.  At William G. Schwab & Associates, Zac began representation of William G. Scwab, Chapter 7 Trustee, in litigation that eventually reached the Supreme Court of the United States of America.  While he left William G. Schwab & Associates before the case arrived at the Supreme Court, he still participated in briefing and attending argument before the Supreme Court.  Zac joined Newman, Williams in 2007 to focus on consumer bankruptcy cases and related litigation in federal and state courts, but continues to represent creditors and trustees in addition to consumer and business debtors in all aspects of bankruptcy and bankruptcy litigation.
