Shareholder Jerry Geiger was recognized for 30 years of service by the County Commissioners’ Association of Pennsylvania (CCAP) at its annual conference in Hershey, PA on November 21, 2017.
Attorney Geiger has been representing Counties in eastern and central Pennsylvania since CCAP was founded in 1987. His list of clients has included not just Counties but its agencies and officials. He has successfully defended county officials in constitutional claims filed in federal courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and in state trial and appellate courts in the eastern half of the state.
CCAP prides itself as “The Voice of Pennsylvania Counties” and provides not just insurance to its members but educational programs at which Attorney Geiger has lectured. This year’s annual conference featured Billy Kirkland, special assistant to the president & deputy director of the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, Attorney General Josh Shapiro, who discussed the opioid problem in Pennsylvania, and a closing presentation by Senator Pat Toomey.
