Attorney Geiger to Speak at Prison Risk Management Workshop

Attorney Geiger will be speaking at a Prison Risk Management Workshop on May 25, 2017 at the Hotel Hershey in Hershey, PA. The conference is sponsored by the County Commissioners’ Association of Pennsylvania (CCAP).

Geiger will be speaking on the responsibilities of Counties in supervising the medical and psychiatric care County Jails provide to inmates. This workshop is designed for wardens, deputy wardens, corrections officers, risk managers, and other county officials or employees dealing with risk management in the prison setting.

Geiger’s presentation will include lessons learned from his successful handling of an inmate suicide case filed in federal court for a member county.

Geiger has been representing Counties and government officials in eastern and central Pennsylvania for 30 years. He handles a substantial amount of federal court litigation and has presented seminars for CCAP on civil rights and municipal liability in the past.
