Attorney Geiger Plays the Blues

On Behalf of | Jan 27, 2018 | Community Service, Firm News, Jerry Geiger |

When he retires, NW Shareholder Jerry Geiger plans on pursuing a second career playing acoustic blues guitar. He’s not ready for prime time yet, but here’s a photo of Jerry just prior to playing a guitar/harmonica duet with PA Supreme Court Justice Mike Eakin at a Monroe County Bar Association conference.

We know of a number of lawyers who are frustrated musicians. However, we reserve public comment as to whether Jerry qualifies for that description.

There are no known recordings of this performance but we assume it was brilliant.

Jerry had a past life as an oboist who played in the Lafayette College, Moravian College and Allentown Symphony Orchestras. He now volunteers his time as the President of the Pocono Youth Orchestra where his children have played Viola and Double Bass.

Jerry’s career choice to pursue a legal career might suggest the extent of his musical abilities but he certainly enjoys the potential of an alternative career.
