On Behalf of | Jan 9, 2019 | Firm News, Taxes |

The Monroe County tax assessment project to reassess real estate in the County has begun.  Notices of new tax assessments will be sent to property owners in March of 2019.  But what if you feel the new assessment is not close to your property’s real value?

If you disagree with the new valuation, there will be an informal review to go over the data and value. Data compiled during the reevaluation will be available for inspection at the informal review and you will have the chance to challenge the new valuations.
